The Holybro 60A Power Distribution Board (PDB) is a high-performance power supply hub specially designed for the PM02/PM02D Power Modules. It provides a stable and efficient power distribution solution for multi-rotor drones. Integrated with high-current pads and pre-soldered connectors, it simplifies the overall wiring of the drone, reduces the risk of short circuits, and is compatible with mainstream models such as the X500 V2.

Product Usage Instructions

Installation Steps

1. Fix the PDB: Use M3 screws to fix the PDB in a suitable position on the drone frame, ensuring it is firmly installed.

2. Connect Battery and Power Module: Insert the battery plug into the XT60 input connector of the PDB, then connect the corresponding interface of the power module (PM02/PM02D) to the PDB.

3. Connect ESC and Motor:

• Version with XT30: Directly insert the ESC plug into the XT30 output connector of the PDB, then connect the motor.

• Version without XT30: Solder the ESC wires to the pads to complete the motor power connection.

4. Wire Arrangement: Organize all connecting wires to avoid exposed, tangled wires or contact with sharp parts, preventing short circuits or open circuits.

Notes

1. Current Limitation: Follow the specifications of 60A continuous current and 120A short-term peak current. Avoid long-term overload use.

2. Compatibility Check: Before use, confirm that the power module is PM02/PM02D. Do not use it with power modules with built-in power distribution such as PM03/PM06/PM07.

3. Soldering Specifications: For the version without XT30, control the soldering iron temperature between 350-400℃ and the soldering time ≤3 seconds to avoid damaging the board layer or causing pad detachment.

4. Insulation Protection: After installation, check whether all solder joints and connectors are insulated. If necessary, use heat shrink tubing to wrap exposed solder joints to prevent short circuits.

5. Environmental Requirements: Avoid use in high-temperature, humid or corrosive environments. Check the PDB for deformation, ablation or loose connectors before flight.
